Our journey to buying Point Du Jour began in the Pays De Loir region of France started while on a trip to Normandy, during a deeply meaningful visit to pay our respects to the heroes of the D-Day landings.

As we explored the region, we were struck not only by the history but by the beauty and potential of the land around us. While visiting the beaches and memorials, we also found ourselves drawn to the charming, old houses scattered throughout the countryside — many in need of love and restoration. That’s when the dream was born.

What began as a quiet moment of reflection quickly turned into a vision for the future. We saw beyond the weathered facades of these historic homes; we saw the opportunity to restore them, to breathe new life into them, and to make them part of our own story. Point Du Jour is the culmination of that dream — a place where history, beauty, and new beginnings converge.

Our new direction in life in 2016 was inspired by the spirit of resilience and hope that Normandy itself embodies. This is our journey, and we’re so glad to share it with you. Welcome to our French home……….To be.
