Riviera Maya in the Cancun was an amazing holiday to an amazing destination. We were lucky enough to fly business class to Mexico which was a real treat and made the long flight much more bearable.

The resort was fantastic as was the food, drinks and juice bars - if you ever go here make sure to have the fresh omelettes complete with cilantro!! ok coriander but you will understand when you get there.

We didnt really do much on this holiday as it was to go to a resort and totally relax and we did just that. Sitting round the pool, drinking from the juice bar and then a few drink and meal in the evening with no real late nights or anything crazy to report.

We spent an awesome day doing the local Cenote’s and visited Chichen Itza which was so interesting and almost unreal that things that happend there was actually a thing, our tour guide was so good and let us do it at our own pace.

This was one amazing trip at just the right time really - I don’t often not want to leave a destination as i’m always keen to see other parts of the world but while on this trip we actually did call the airline to see if they could delay our flight a week as we were going to stay another week - however to move that flight alone was going to cost nearly the same cost as flying back and coming straight back again!! 😂 We decided we may as well head home.
